Emma’s work is focused on understanding environmental issues in fashion and design in connection with human behaviours. She is currently working on a practice informed PhD that looks at possibilities to reduce the frequency, volume and impact of garment laundering through design tactics. Based at London College of Fashion, her work uses design thinking as a holistic approach to gain new insights into how design can be used to encourage pro-environmental behaviour. She trained as a designer in London and Australia and has an MA in Fashion and the Environment. Emma is part of the London based design collective Here Today Here Tomorrow.
