My academic background is a MA in Philosophy and Art History, majoring in Philosophical Aesthetics. Currently I am a Lecturer at a Design College in Copenhagen, primarily educating Fashion Design students within the fields of Aesthetics and Trend Analysis.

My main areas of interest, and ongoing academic research, are The Aesthetic Design Experience and Aesthetic Sustainability. As a part of this research, I am occupied with the development of an Aesthetic Strategy for designers, which allows aesthetic considerations to become a “tool” in the design process – as well as an exploration of the aesthetically sustainable or durable expression, be it complex and multifunctional, or neutral and subtle.
